Connect your AI assistant to real market data
Flicker's MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any Model Context Protocol client live prices, signals, and market analysis across crypto, stocks, and forex — plus your own portfolio. Every tool runs on a free Flicker account you sign in to once.
Set up your assistant
Instructions vary slightly by client, but every MCP-compatible assistant connects the same way: point it at the server URL below, then sign in and approve when prompted — no key to copy.
- Open Settings → Connectors in Claude Desktop or claude.ai.
- Add a custom connector using the server URL below, then click Connect — Claude opens a Flicker sign-in and approval screen for you.
Every tool runs on a signed-in account. Your assistant opens the Flicker sign-in the first time it calls one, and you approve what it can read.

Frequently asked questions
What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard, created by Anthropic, that lets AI assistants call external tools and read live data instead of relying only on their training data.
Is the Flicker MCP server free?
Yes — a free Flicker account covers the whole catalogue. Every tool requires sign-in, market data included: your client opens a Flicker sign-in and approval screen the first time it connects, with no key to copy. A Pro plan unlocks extra timeframes and filters.
What can my AI assistant see?
Market data — prices, signals, analysis, sentiment — for any signed-in account. Beyond that, only what you've linked: positions, balances, trade history, watchlist, alerts. Nothing your account doesn't already show you.
Is this safe? Can it trade for me?
The MCP server is read-only end to end. It cannot place trades, move funds, or change your exchange connections — the same read-only guarantee as the rest of Flicker.
Which AI assistants work with Flicker's MCP server?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, and custom agents built on the protocol.
